Get your Paytm KYC done now!

It is now mandatory for all the Paytm users to complete the KYC in order to continue using the wallet and bank transfers from their Paytm account. The Reserve Bank of India came out with the new guidelines pertaining to issuance and operation of Prepaid Payment Instruments (PPIs) on October 11, 2017, which will be effective post 28th February 2018. Hence, you need to complete your KYC by 28th February.

How can the KYC be done?
You can do your Paytm KYC yourself or by requesting a home visit / visiting nearby KYC point by following the steps given below:

Minimum KYC procedure
• Open Paytm app
• Go to KYC
• Enter your respective document number and your name
• Click on Proceed
• you are min KYCed at this point and next steps allow you to become full
KYC

Full KYC yourself procedure
• Open Paytm app
• Go to KYC
• Enter your Aadhar card’s number and your name
• Click on Proceed
• Enter the OTP you will receive
• Click on Confirm
• You will be able to see your Aadhar card for identification
• Click on Yes, It’s me
• Provide all the additional information
• Click on Confirm
• Link your Bank Account for verification (If this is not done then self KYC
will be valid only for a year and user necessarily has to do full KYC)

Full KYC – requesting a visit or visiting nearest KYC point procedure
• Open Paytm app
• Go to KYC
• Click on Complete KYC with other documents
• Choose the document you want to add and provide its details
• Click on Proceed
• Click on At your nearby KYC point to go to the point for verification
• Or, click on At your doorstep to book an appointment for getting your
documents verified at your home
